Situated in the Western Cape, Faraway Estate is a wedding and events venue that intertwines glamour and romance with an opulent and comfortable manor in the glorious countryside.
Faraway celebrations are reminiscent of lavish parties in the English countryside. From foyer, staircase and large chandeliers to ceiling-high French doors that take you outside. Marquee weddings are set up on the valley-facing greens, while smaller functions can be accommodated indoors. Guests can be given access to the entire ground floor. And with the manor being as impressive as the scenery, wedding photos can go from dreamy to dramatic in a single shoot.
We were so blessed to have my daughter’s wedding at this magnificent estate! It is pristine, beautifully decorated, so spacious and the most breathtakingly views, plus so much more. We are so appreciative of everything that Helmare, Sonja and the team did in contributing to the magic of our special day. The venue itself is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding or event, with numerous locations to select from and requiring very little décor. It is clear to see that the team has everything in place and all go above and beyond to help you where needed. The event staff were friendly and experienced and we received tremendous feedback from all our guests on the food, service and venue. The day was exactly what we wanted and we can’t thank you all enough!
