Weddings are such crazy events that fly past so quickly… that’s where we fit in… Capturing those big emotions and stolen moments as works of art that make you feel the day again and again. Even though I’ve shot over 1400 weddings, I purposely invest myself deeply into each individual story making every wedding fresh and allowing me to capture natural, intimate and unique images that are not just pretty pictures… but works of art for you to re-live your big day in the most timeless way. Alex has been shooting weddings for over 15 years, and still gets excited when the bride walks down the aisle and tears up during every single father/daughter dance. For me… it’s all about the story, and how I can bring my artistic eye to show off the best parts of your big day. Not just giving you pretty pictures of your wedding, but works of art that make you remember how you felt! “Love is more than a freaking kiss”
So when I tell your love story, I’m looking for the tension.

You know… that spark of anticipation before pressing your lips together. My job is to be sure that I bring the vibe to make you laugh and the artistic vision to make that joy into Art. And I know without a doubt that I was woven and spun in my mother’s womb to do this… and I LOVE IT! It just comes naturally – the anticipation of a moment and the vision to see composition and as Adam Duritz puts it “the way that light attaches to a girl”

What sets AlexanderSmith apart from the over saturated market of photographers? Well besides his very apparent sense of quality and detail, is his ability to be personable, Hhe treated us like good friends and that brought out the best in all the pictures because we were comfortable and felt safe about the photos. Secondly, when he works, he is never seen, is never in the way, to the point that when we viewed the photos afterwards we couldn’t once remember seeing him actually taking those photos.
