Wildekrans Wine Estate Venue is situated between the leafy scenery of Botriver and the sunny beaches of Hermanus. Here on rolling hills overlooking Walker Bay, you’ll find the charming, old-world vineyard and wine estate, Wildekrans. The focus of this quaint wine estate lies very much in creating a fully home-grown product from our wines to your special day.

Located just an hour and a bit from Cape Town City Centre or 45 minutes from the Airport, Wildekrans is the ideal wedding venue offering indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options. These can be hosted on the Terrace, and the Chapel to the lawns or the Cellar. We have ideal venues for smaller weddings such as The Restaurant and The Blue Room, or for larger weddings such as the Terrace and the lawns.

Our facilities cater for intimate, smaller weddings as well as larger weddings up to 150 guests, and is well supported by a friendly, efficient and experienced team of staff to ensure your day is a successful and memorable experience. Up to 38 of your guests can be accommodated in our 9 self-catering country cottages, located next to the venues, allowing you to make your day, more than just one day.

Guests can enjoy the farm from walking and mountain biking to horse rides and wine tasting or simply kicking back and enjoying the peace and quiet. Bride and Groom and party can relax whilst getting ready on-site, knowing they have not got far to go. Diamant Estate is set against the dramatic backdrop of Paarl Mountain a mere 45 minutes from Cape Town. Gorgeous views extend from the front of the property; include an expanse of manicured lawns, vineyards and majestic Oak trees. You might even catch a glimmer of Table Mountain in the distance.

The Old Chapel is a small wine cellar dating from the 1700’s which has been tastefully transformed into an intimate chapel for wedding ceremonies. The Old Chapel can also be transformed into a cosy, more intimate space to hold your reception and dance party for boutique weddings.

The Lawn consists of breathtaking views, envision the sun setting over Table Mountain in the distance, old oak trees and vineyards that wrap around the area and mountains as far as the eye can see. This is an exquisite area for outside ceremonies, sundowners or even an outdoor reception. The Barn can be used in conjunction with the old chapel, as stylish glass doors separate the two spaces. The extra-large fireplace or air-conditioned facility makes this the ideal spot for a smaller event, both winter and summer.

The Main Venue is a beautifully renovated historic wine cellar that is the flagship of our function spaces. While the original Cape Dutch style was retained, the designers and architects artfully married tradition with contemporary fittings and finishes. Two large courtyards with cozy fireplaces and stylish lounge pockets, as well as a beautiful wooden and granite Bar facility complement the Main Venue. We offer a variety of packages and options at different venues on the estate. From a small, intimate wedding in The Old Chapel or The Barn, an outside ceremony and reception on the lawn, to a large celebration in the Main Venue. Ons het my verjaarsdag die naweek by Eenzaamheid gehou. Dit is ‘n lieflike venue wat die kinders en grootmense ewe veel geniet het! Yolanda het absoluut alles gedoen en gereël – ek moes net opdaag. Sy het soveel moeite gemaak en die fyner detail het dit regtig spesiaal gemaak. Die kinders het hulself moeg gespeel op die plaas en daar was ‘n paar trane toe dit huis toe gaan tyd raak! Highberry Vineyards is offering a 15% discount on it’s venue hire fee’s for any available weekend date in June or July this year.

Having done my first wedding at Highberry Wines in April 2022 as well as a kids birthday party, I can certainly say that this venue has reached my top 10 in the Western Cape. Nestled under the Hottentots mountains and just off from Sir Lowry’s Pass, this venue is the last farm on the road, which allows for complete privacy. Surrounded by vineyards a dam and views of the mountain, you’ve got the complete package with this venue. The venue comes with raw wooden tables, ghost chairs, cutlery, crockery and glasses, which is a huge win with venues these days! Barend & myself are coming down from an incredible high of the last few days & cannot thank you enough for all your assistance during this whole process.
