I woke up this morning very grateful. I just wanted to thank you for yesterday, I know it was just only part 1 but you did an amazing job. I am happy and my parents were happy. Bergvallei has its own character and atmosphere with its Stellenbosch-type green and white buildings surrounded by rose gardens, fountains and Roman statues. We have two charming chapels, one conventional and the other one with open sides. There are two reception venues which cater for between 60 and 250 guests. Our Main Hall boasts four large fireplaces, which also makes it the perfect setting for a romantic and cozy winter wedding. We also have accommodation available, which is very convenient for guests and family coming to your wedding from afar.

Ideally situated on the R28 (highway between Krugersdorp and Pretoria) in the Muldersdrift area – we are only 30 short minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria, but with the surrounding tranquility it could be hours away.

We would just like to thank you for making our big day so special. From beginning to the very end, we were treated like royalty. We would like to thank everyone from the security to the waiters, office staff for their excellent customer service and friendliness. Nestled in the secluded valley under the Sterkfontein Caves, lies our beautiful Venue. When driving through our guarding Iceberg Roses you look down onto rolling landscaped gardens with fountains that tower high into the sky. Archways open the gates into paradise, which holds a variety of settings for the photographs you will show forever. The river that meanders under big old trees and majestic cliffs forms the backdrop to what seems to be the closest you’ll ever get to “Fairy Land”. We hope this email finds everyone well. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to every member of the Makiti team. When we were planning the wedding we wanted something that would be simple but elegant and we got exactly that. Thank you sooo much Ananda, the decor and flowers were beyond our expectations. The coordinator that was allocated to us on the day made sure that everything ran smoothly and on schedule, the waitressing staff were all so friendly and efficient. If we could get married again there is nothing we would change and that’s all as a result of the wonderful team that we worked with and coordination between all parties involved.
