I am a registered Marriage Official who has been empowered by the state to legally solemnize and register your marriage in South Africa.

It is my passion to celebrate the love stories of the couples I get to journey with. I make it a personal and intimate celebration of their love and their personalities at the ceremony.

Wondrous Weddings has been operating since 2004 with Reverend Jeanette Barnard at the head. I am an ordained Minister and registered Marriage Officer appointed at The Department of Home Affairs in South Africa. I can officiate an interfaith life celebration service at any venue of your choice, an intimate service at your home or a private service at our offices. I have many positive and satisfied references. These marriages can be officiated in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo. Traveling won’t be a problem at all. I can officiate your life celebration service in Afrikaans, English or Bilingual. The couple will receive their legal documentation on the day of their life celebration service. It is my responsibility as the marriage officer to register your marriage the first working day after your marriage was solemnized. I am authorized to marry two South African citizens, Two Non-South African citizens and a South African with a Non-South African citizen. I am an Interdenominational Universalist Minister with a Catholic upbringing. I consider myself a Spiritual Master of Ceremonies and Officiate at defining events such weddings and funerals. My niche is performing appropriately positioned ceremonies, specifically tailored to the couple’s requirements. I endeavor to bring a personalised blend of tradition and contemporary, with your preferred religious tone to the wedding ceremony.

My mission is to give you the wedding you want in the way you want it while making thoughtful suggestions that may enhance your day. I am proud to declare that I will marry anyone who wants to be married irrespective of colour or creed.

Marriage counselling is not a mandatory requirement however, I offer a relationship course, outlining extraordinary insights into living together. I also assist with referring appropriate service providers for Ante-Nuptial Contracts, flowers, photographers, venues and updating wills.
