Monkeys Wedding is a modern three piece party band performing a wide range of music from the classics to modern day chart toppers. Established in 2015, the group has become a familiar and trusted brand in the Wedding and Corporate scene. According to Rossouw, one of the members, the band particularly loves performing at weddings. “Everyone is expecting a party so it just makes our job so much easier. We love watching people have a good time while we enjoy making music. Also, the good food is a welcome bonus”.

The guys of Monkeys Wedding met each other while studying music at COPA Pretoria. Little did they know that they would meet again three years later after having their own adventures performing in theatres, hotels, doing session work and even doing contracts abroad. When their paths crossed again on that fateful day they knew that it was time to shape their own futures and so Monkeys Wedding was born!  Monkeys Wedding is currently in its eighth year of bringing upbeat, professional performances to its clients and spreading the “happy” all around!

Monkeys Wedding played at our wedding in February 2023! We really enjoyed a full services package that included their Band and DJ for the afternoon and evening. They provided very nice background tunes during canapés as well as unforgettable live music during the evening (Afrikaans, oldies and wedding classics just as you like it). We really loved working with them from wedding songs selection, preparation, and on our special day! We can really recommend Rossouw and his band to everyone! Welcome to the MC world of the one and only David Robinson, a bilingual Master of Ceremonies, your English and Afrikaans MC of choice. My journey as a performer all started when I finished my Bachelor of Arts degree in Live performance from AFDA Film and Drama school in 2006. I used this training to pursue a career in the performing arts, and appeared in numerous TV adverts including Vodacom, Tropika, Nestlé, Debonairs and Standard bank to name a few. The excitement and adventure of performing while traveling then drew me in, and this is when I worked on the MSC Sinfonia as an entertainer and host for 2 seasons. We would just like to thank David Robinson for being the MC for our wedding 05-03:2021 at Shepstone Gardens. David knows how to entertain a crowd, he had all our guest entertained from start to finish. David has a way  that just seems so effortless when he is in-front of a crowd. When picking our MC we thought we looking for someone that has no problem with crowds, can make people laugh and that can get the guests attention, David did not have to speak twice to get our guests attention.
