We are a brand new modern contemporary venue located between the beautiful Langeberg mountains just outside Robertson. Not only are we surrounded by award-winning wine farms, but our location is unique as it offers easy access from the R62 and is very centrally located.

HOLY MOLY! That was the most epic day of our lives thank you to each and everyone one of you for everything! We are so lucky to have had the best team ever pre and during our wedding day! We can not thank you enough for all the small things and big things that day it was such a jol and it was just perfect! Braam! Wow, what a journey from visiting the venue more than 2 years ago and falling in love with The Beuld before it was open, your passion and love for your vision I knew I had met the perfect place and the perfect people! You and Riaan have built something so magical and Michael and I are so happy we got to be part of it! From the special touches of the plaque on the lovers lane and set up with the last minute tent and outdoor cocktail area. The Beuld is not just a venue it’s a special moment in life for us we will never forget! We celebrated our wedding in March at Leipzig and had the most perfect occasion. The venue is breathtaking and overs everything you need. The food was delicious and had a nice variety to choose from. One month ago we had our fairytale wedding at Atila. It was everything we wanted and more. All our guests loved the venue. Thank you to Monica and Francois for being accommodating and helping us make our special day even more special. Johan, the chef’s food was tasty and well presented. At the end of a country road, set high in a fynbos valley surrounded by mountains on 3 sides, you will find the idyllic Pat Busch Mountain Reserve. This private nature reserve lies just beyond Robertson in the Cape Winelands, less than 2 hours scenic drive from Cape Town, and is the perfect blank canvas, a weekend destination wedding venue in the mountains.

There are numerous ceremony areas from which to choose ranging from the jetty overlooking the mountain dam, to a poplar forest with a stream, a poolside setting or a lush meadow with mountain views, or a firm favourite is beneath the ancient oak tree. Any venue or a combination can be used for the ceremony, pre-drinks and the reception. Couples have the freedom to not only arrange a pre-wedding informal ‘Meet & Greet’ the night before the wedding, (which is the perfect opportunity to catch up with family & friends), but also an informal Farewell breakfast the day after the wedding. Wow, what a venue! The surroundings are absolutely unreal with 10 stylish and comfortable Africamp Boutique glamping ‘tents’, lovely smaller cottages, and a big farmhouse all nestled in the heart of the mountains, so close it feels as if you can touch them. The Pat Busch team organised the set up/break down and accommodated all my (some unusual) requests perfectly. Other benefits of using Pat Busch as a wedding venue: No curfew (we partied into the very early hours), being able to bring in external suppliers to create exactly what you want and manage costs better, and a recommended list of tried-and-tested suppliers who are used to doing weddings there and can offer invaluable advice/guidance. We truly had the most magical weekend and were so proud to show our UK guests the best of SA. – Dianne Lesche
