The Atlantic Ocean, Cape Town’s wine country, and magnificent vistas can all be seen from Benguela Cove, which is located one hour and twenty minutes from the city center of Cape Town. We plan wedding celebrations at Benguela Cove to exceed your aspirations. We take pride in the professionals we provide to assist you both in the planning process and on the big day.

You can select from a variety of interior and outdoor ceremony locations. Our outdoor space can accommodate a larger group of guests while our main venue can accommodate 180 guests without a dance floor and 130 with one. If you are looking for a more intimate celebration, you can alternatively opt for our cozy unique spaces which include vineyards, the wine cellar, tasting room, Tea Terrace, clubhouse, rooftop, the Lighthouse and the wedding lawn and other options.

There are luxurious oceanside villas available to accommodate family and friends. These newly bult villas can accommodate up to 30 guests, together with this we offer you alternative accommodation options where your guests can travel by shuttle. We have three wedding celebration packages you can choose from, no matter how many guests you plan to invite. Our highly skilled head chef, Annie Badenhorst, and her passionate team create unique menus suited for every event, depending on the type of dining experience you would enjoy. Benguela Cove is a fully liquor licensed venue with a well-stocked bar including our very own award-winning Benguela Cove wines.  Your dearest friends and family can participate in activities for their stay, such as visiting the Art of Living Exhibition, a pontoon boat trip with wine tasting on the lagoon, dining at new seafood and oyster bar and guided tours of the winery and vineyards. Cherry Glamping is in Elgin and is the ideal destination for a unique forest wedding weekend or any other group get-together. We offer luxury tented accommodation and various venue options in 2 different camps. This allows you to entertain your guests in different areas during your stay. Our beautiful and spacious Bell tents are permanently setup amongst the trees and can accommodate up to 80 people. More tents can be added if required. There is also a cabin, separate from the 2 camps. It overlooks the mountain and comes with a wood-fired hot tub and kitchenette, and is perfect for the wedding couple. Wildekrans Wine Estate Venue is situated between the leafy scenery of Botriver and the sunny beaches of Hermanus. Here on rolling hills overlooking Walker Bay, you’ll find the charming, old-world vineyard and wine estate, Wildekrans. The focus of this quaint wine estate lies very much in creating a fully home-grown product from our wines to your special day.

Located just an hour and a bit from Cape Town City Centre or 45 minutes from the Airport, Wildekrans is the ideal wedding venue offering indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options. These can be hosted on the Terrace, and the Chapel to the lawns or the Cellar. We have ideal venues for smaller weddings such as The Restaurant and The Blue Room, or for larger weddings such as the Terrace and the lawns.

Our facilities cater for intimate, smaller weddings as well as larger weddings up to 150 guests, and is well supported by a friendly, efficient and experienced team of staff to ensure your day is a successful and memorable experience. Up to 38 of your guests can be accommodated in our 9 self-catering country cottages, located next to the venues, allowing you to make your day, more than just one day.
