Choose experienced classical artists who know the do’s and don’ts with decorum and dress code when it comes to weddings. If possible, go see them perform ahead of time to ensure your peace of mind.
You may prefer to have a classical ensemble playing in the background before, during and after your ceremony and/or during pre-drinks before guests are seated for dinner. This is always a popular choice. Your classical musician or ensemble will also be able to play your ceremony walk-in and exit songs if you prefer. If you have any special requests, inform them ahead of time to give them time to practice (if the song is not already in their repertoire).
Some tips to keep in mind: You need to supply suitable seating for each musician and also (very importantly!) remember to supply ample shade and protection against the elements. Your musicians will also be grateful if you supply cold beverages for them nearby.
