We cater for everything including conferences, banquets, launches, exhibitions, meetings, corporate training and events. Collisheen Estate boasts two venues, complete with our private chapels, beautiful gardens, bridal salon and outdoor arena as well as a water feature and landscaped gardens., The perfect venue for stylish weddings and functions. Over the last 20 years, Collisheen Estate has earned an outstanding reputation as a wedding and function venue. We pride ourselves on top-class service and a high level of professionalism. Eden Lassie

Eden Lassie is ideally situated in the Tala Valley,  just 70 km from Durban and a mere 27 km from Pietermarizburg. The Venue sits proudly in park-like gardens overlooking the magnificent farming area of the Tala Valley. The venue is now under new management as Judy the owner steps down and Dale from Daleliteful Décor takes over the management of the functions.

Eden Lassie’s verandah and deck overlooks a lake full of magnificent waterlilies and we have many varieties of birds. The perfectly manicured gardens have been established for over 40 years, creating the perfect backdrop for your photographs.

Eden Lassie is situated on a working beef ranch and plant nursery. The farmland allows for the perfect backdrop for country-style wedding photographs, including rustic farm buildings, so there is no need to go further afield!

Our Chapel is situated next to a beautiful water feature, which runs into the lake creating a peaceful setting. One side of the chapel has open arches that overlook the gardens giving the perfect garden wedding ambience. Both Eden Lassie’s main hall and chapel can seat up to 200 guests. Extra guests can be seated on the verandah and can still be part of the main wedding through the French doors.

The Hatchery

The Hatchery offers a unique wedding destination close enough to the major centres yet different enough to place guests in the moment. The surrounding villages of Mtunzini and Zinkwazi offer ample accommodation for those guests not staying at the venue. The Hatchery is set on a deserted old prawn farm on a river mouth and coastal reserve on the KZN North Coast. The history of the facility was kept in mind when converting the facility and the buildings look much like they did when prawns were spawned here. The result is a venue that offers a unique blend of comfort and rustic old cool in an idyllic setting. We got married at The Hatchery on 25 October 2025. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, everything we hoped for and more. Mount Edgecombe 

Here at the Mount Edgecombe Conference Centre, our main purpose is to help with the planning and preparations of your unique event, making it a stress-free and enjoyable day for the hosts as well as all your valued guests. Our aim is to provide the best trends and quality service for our clients and ensure the most competitive rates in the industry. This upmarket events venue comprises of two reception rooms, with a banquet-style seating capacity of 100 to 300 guests in the main auditorium, while the more private room can seat 70 guests banquet-style. The uniquely styled interior is designed and draped in white, dressed with chandeliers and fairy lights, which creates the ambience for a stylish and sophisticated event. This elegant venue comes fully set up according to your theme and colour scheme of choice.
