Founded in 1994 specializes in superb food that is also a feast for the eyes in obscure, remote and everyday places and spaces.  We compile functions for you that are magical and unforgettable and have the ability, mobile kitchens, 4×4 vehicles and experts to set up celebrations anywhere and everywhere. Founder Marilou Marais-Ferreira, a self-declared glutton and foody and head chef Marie Henneke have been working together since 1992.
Together they have cooked and prepared more than 1000 000 meals in the past 30 years.  As the catering company for 10 consecutive years at the Wines2whales MTB race, they have the ability to present brilliant food for up to 3000 guests.
Although excellent food is presented to large groups, no amount of guests is too small for the team to treat and spoil.  Based in Stellenbosch, they service the greater Winelands area, however national demands have taken them to Hoedspruit, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Buffelspoort and many more places to make their magic.

Avec Mari has happy relationships with many local suppliers and can assist with information and ideas regarding decor, music, tents, lights, bars and stationery. We also have a list of available venues and function options.

Good day ladies, I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the absolutely beautiful fairytale day you all provided us with. The wedding was a resounding success and it’s a day we will never forget. I know for you it’s normal for things to go so well, but for me it was so important to give Candis the perfect wedding, and you ladies really made that a reality. Jissie maar jyt my dag baie spesiaal gemaak met jou feestelike maaltyd. Elke gas het vir my gesê hoe amazing dit was. Ons giggel lekker vandag daaroor. Hulle het sommer die ander mense se platters voor hulle weggevat om ‘n tweede bord te eet. Mal! Jy was seker gedaan vandag? Ek kan nie glo hoe hard jy gewerk het nie. Baie dankie vir die liefde waarmee jy die dag aangepak het. Niks is op ons gemors nie. Ons het dit almal so geniet en waardeer. Stuur asb vir my die faktuur van al die laaste ekstras.
