I design bespoke, nature-inspired flower arrangements with care and attention to detail, using hand-selected, premium blooms paired with foraged finds.
There is a magic in floristry that arises from the subtleties. Working with Bédinkt, you will find yourself delighted by the treasures to be found in nature and its seasons – in colours, textures and the interplay of the two.
Lush, wild, whimsical, romantic, abundant, playful, bold or delicate: my designs are inspired by the beauty to be found in nature. Understanding that each bride is unique, I will tailor my services around your needs, style and budget, and help you bring your dream wedding to life.
As a trained Fine Artist, my industry experience of more than two decades as a Packaging Designer took me on some extraordinary journeys and challenged me to be my creative best. My love for and understanding of design deeply informs my work and adds a layer of richness to my floristry.
Working with flowers gives me the freedom to produce unique creations for each customer, in which nature and art meets in abundance.

Big or small, if you want your wedding to look like a film set – you need the ‘Crazy Flower Lady’! Crazy in the best possible way, in that she is completely obsessed with her craft. A designer first & foremost, floristry doesn’t really describe her offering. Theresa is an artist, a sculptress and a passionate aficionado of our indigenous botany. She gathers, sources, grows a ‘palette’ of living colour, texture and form – in order to create her stunning installations and wearable art. On top of all that, she is a super sweet lady, patient, respectful, yet single-minded in her mission to achieve your vision & she knows how to make it happen. Bonus is that she also just a great wing-man to have around on your wedding morning & bring you calm, confidence and a hug if thats what floats your boat. We got married between covid lockdowns and had to adjust our dream of a big and magical wedding to an intimate family occasion. Accepting that change was tough, as it felt like I had to forfeit all the magic I had dreamed of for so long. Not the case! Enter Theresa and her incredible passion and skill with flowers! I really had no idea that “flower arranging” could be as absolutely fascinating and truly magical as the creations she brings to the table. From our first coffee meeting to discuss what I wanted and what she could offer, I was filled with confidence. Her calm approach helped me to feel that I was in safe hands and she really listened and took in every detail of what I liked and wanted. And then I left it with her and hoped for the best!
What we got on our wedding day was nothing short of spectacular! Breathtaking! I remember Theresa saying to me that the more you look into the arrangements, the more you see and you’ll keep seeing new things for days to come! That was so true!! Our flowers were such a highlight and conversation topic for all of our guests. The creativity, unusual combinations of flowers foraged from the neighbourhood and from friends’ gardens, combined with my big king proteas that I had asked for, specific fynbos species (I am a horticulturist, so my requests were quite specific!), big chunky blooms paired with delicate little fairy flowers, foliage in all textures and colours….it really was an absolute artwork!
