When renting a venue in South Africa for your wedding day, Cussonia Crest is the ideal choice. Nestled at the foot of the Magalies Mountains, Cussonia Crest boasts some of the most stunning views. Cussonia Crest, Wedding & Function Venue was established in 2007 by founder and owner Dr Hendrik Stander.
Cussonia Crest is dedicated to keeping family principles at the forefront of everything we do. Whether it is an employee or guest, we believe in cherishing each and every individual who steps foot on our soil. Every single event held at Cussonia Crest is treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. Aside from having one of the most beautiful venues in the area, we are also able to provide our clients with a wide range of coordination services that are tailored to their specific requirements, thanks to our inhouse wedding coordinator, Kharma Swart.
Our venue offers a serene escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. Guests can also gather around our Boma area afterward and enjoy comfortable accommodation. We provide a dedicated gents’ room and bridal dressing room (honeymoon suite). With space for up to 32 guests with breakfast included for the morning after the wedding, we ensure a welcoming stay from Friday check-in to Sunday departure.
And to think… all this just 32 kilometers from Pretoria!

My husband and I couldn’t recommend the Cussonia Crest team enough after planning our wedding. Kharma from Cussonia Crest was always prepared to jump on a call with us and listen to our ideas, whilst still taking our vision and helping us turn it into something more magical. She put together an amazing team of suppliers, which was of great help when planning a wedding. Above all, she also kept things moving seamlessly on the day, so we never had to stress about anything that day and could just enjoy ourselves.
