Hidden away in the Louwshoek Rawsonville area 105km from Cape Town. We are surrounded by Mountains that creates the perfect backdrop for your wedding. Next to the river where you can say your vows.
We have accommodation available for your wedding party to have a whole weekend full of celebrations. We offer an outdoor and indoor reception area where you can dance the night away under the stars. We have idyllic locations where you can capture all the memories made on your special day.
Our main venue can accommodate up to 150 guests comfortably, depending on the table layout and dancing area. We have the facilities hosting an outdoor reception which can accommodate plenty. Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway has an in-house chef that will help you put together an unforgettable meal during you consultation. Your wedding menu is an important part of your special day. We offer a wide variety of canapés, main courses and delicious desserts.
This place is AMAZING. I had my wedding here and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Suzanne and her staff is fantastic at what they do. They are friendly, professional and helpful. They really went over and above and made the wedding planning so much easier. The view is absolute stunning and the service is phenomenal. They made it feel like we were the only couple getting married and I was the most important bride . I definitely wouldn’t have been able to have done any of it without Suzanne. This venue and the staff deserves 6/5 stars.
Absolutely the best place closest to heaven.
This was by far one of my best experiences at a wedding. There is too much to mention, there is absolutely nothing i can complain about or even give advice to better as it was amazing. The rooms had everything you can ask for and more. The staff was amazing and on point. I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely be back. I never go to the same place twice but this is definitely an exception.
