With a story rooted in heritage and natural wonder, Fossil Hills gets its name from the ancient fossils discovered on the property—dating back 355 million years. Today, it stands as a peaceful countryside retreat, where couples can say “I do” surrounded by majestic mountain backdrops, vineyards, and the gentle rhythm of farm life.

Fossil Hills offers a unique farm-style wedding and function venue, perfect for intimate celebrations or milestone moments. The venue is nestled next to Pinotage House, which sleeps up to 16 guests and is one of 12 self-catering cottages scattered across the farm. Together, the property comfortably hosts up to 60 overnight guests, with the option to add a Bedouin tent for larger gatherings.

Unforgettable and truly relaxing. So well equipped, clean and beautiful finishes. The play area was right on our doorstop, we had everything we needed for the amount of people we had. Great stay away in the winelands. Amazing location, friendly host. Great for dogs and accommodating with a durable fence. Unit was equipped with all supplies, including extra towels for the hot tub and extra items such as bikes and wood. Surrounded by pet friendly wine farms.
