Based in Alberton, we serve Sandton, Fourways, Johannesburg South, and surrounding areas with fresh, beautifully presented food that lets you enjoy your own event.
We started ShunammiteResources because we saw how much stress hosts carry on the day of a function. Between cooking, serving, and cleaning, you never actually get to be present. Our mission is simple: We prep, you post, your guests eat. We handle the food so you can handle the memories.
1. *Self-Service Platters*: Our signature offering for Kitchen Teas, Baby Showers, Corporate Meetings, and Birthdays. Think mini croissant sandwiches stuffed fresh, seasonal fruit platters, melt-in-the-mouth biscuits, wraps, and sweet treats. Platters start from R450 and feed 6-8 guests. Delivered ready to set down on your table — no staff needed, no dishes for you later.
2. *High Tea & Grazing Tables*: For bridal showers, birthdays, and corporate launches where you want that “wow” factor. A mix of savoury and sweet, styled to look abundant and photo-ready.
3. *Spitbraai*: Our service for bigger celebrations of 50+ guests. Whole lamb or chicken slow-roasted on the spit, served with pap, chakalaka, three salads, rolls, and dessert. Packages from R185 per person. We arrive early, cook on site, serve your guests, and clean up before we leave. Your uncle gets to enjoy a beer instead of manning the fire.
Everything is prepared fresh on the day of your event. We don’t use pre-made, frozen, or day-old food. Our fruit is cut that morning. Our bread is baked fresh. That’s why clients tell us our food looks as good at 2pm as it did at 10am.
We work with busy moms, brides, corporate PA’s, and anyone who wants great food without the workload. If you’re planning a Kitchen Tea in Fourways, a 21st in Alberton, or a year-end function in Sandton, we’ve got a package to fit.
I just have to share my heartfelt thanks to Emmanuel and his incredible team for an unforgettable Christmas experience! We invited him to plan and execute a family gathering in Zimbabwe, and despite being based in South Africa, he traveled all the way to make our celebration extraordinary. From choosing the perfect venue to providing all the necessary utensils, every detail was impeccably handled. The food he prepared was absolutely delicious, and the selection of wines and other beverages was top-notch. My family and I were absolutely thrilled with the entire setup!
