Her innate talent and unwavering determination led her to master the art of makeup application independently. In 2005, Sarah elevated her passion to the next level by enrolling at TUT (Tshwane University of Technology), embarking on a transformative educational journey that culminated in her earning an Honours degree in Performing Arts Technology, specializing in Makeup & Hairstyling, and graduating with Cum Laude honours.

During these formative years, the concept of Swoon Makeup was conceived, marking the genesis of a career-defining passion. With an impressive 18 years of experience, Sarah has earned a well-deserved reputation as a trusted name in the industry, serving a diverse clientele with varying skin types and tones.

Sarah’s exceptional talents have graced the faces of numerous gifted actors and performers, including esteemed celebrities such as Lupita, Terry Pheto, Bonang, Randy Fenoli, Leandie DuRandt, and many more. In 2014, she was lucky to be chosen to work on the Avengers sequel, Age of Ultron, shot in Johannesburg CBD.
