The One Film Co. was born out of a deep love for storytelling and a passion for preserving the beauty of wedding days. Founded by the talented Ru Booyens, the business has now been entrusted to me — Anthony Wayne Steel — a filmmaker with a heart for romance, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to capturing moments that matter.

With a background in film and a degree to match, I bring both cinematic skill and heartfelt intention to every wedding I film. My approach is simple: tell your story, honestly and beautifully. I don’t just show up with a camera — I become part of your day, blending in and making you feel comfortable, so the real, unscripted moments can shine.

Based in the breathtaking Western Cape of South Africa, The One Film Co is based in Somerset West in the Western Cape, but I am always excited to travel — whether it’s elsewhere in the country or across the globe — to be part of your special day.

We had already decided that we wanted The One Film Co to capture our wedding after watching just one of weddings they had previously filmed. And wow, they really delivered!!
