Eslick says she sees herself as the ‘conductor of the orchestra’, pulling the various threads of the event together and ensuring that everybody is in harmony with each other to create the perfect symphony.
The journey to the wedding day at The Oyster Box begins long before the big day itself, with many a first date and proposal having taken place at one of the country’s most sought-after venues. Equally popular for engagement and Kitchen Tea parties, as well as many other pre- and post-wedding celebrations, The Oyster Box offers a range of five locations, each with its own distinctive decorative style and the ability to cater for individual preferences and requirements.
The Pearl Room, with its mirrored walls and exquisite hand-blown crystal Venetian chandeliers has an air of luxury and opulence and can accommodate 120 people. The Shell Room, Durban July, Union Castle and Colony Rooms are perfect for smaller and more intimate gatherings.
The draped Victorian gazebo, bejewelled with fresh flowers in the lush, tropical garden courtyard, can be hired at an additional cost for private ceremonies. Throughout the hotel picture-perfect settings create idyllic backdrops for capturing each and every moment of that perfect wedding day.
