Cakes by Wade specialises in creating individually designed and flavoured cakes and confectionary for any special occasion. They categorised the style of confectionary into four basic groups: traditional, formal, rustic, modern and abstract.
The wedding cake is a focal point, a highlight for the bridal couple, but to be an effective part of the greater visual of the day wedding cakes, pastries and desserts. Using the cake type and design style as basis, the decor of the event and the personality of the clients are analysed to select elements which are carried through to the cake decoration, ensuring a rounded whole.
I live in the UK and was looking for someone to create a dream cake for my wedding in Cape Town. After emailing a photograph of what I wanted to various wedding cake suppliers in SA, it became apparent that Wade’s Cakes were probably the only ones who could achieve what I wanted (we were directed to them by many other suppliers in SA)!! They were very professional, double checked exactly what I wanted and we ordered our dream cake. I can honestly say that I have never seen such perfection and detail in a cake. We have just returned back from our honeymoon, sorry for the late response since the wedding day.
